DOCTOR:

JAMES CHANG, DVM

Dr. Chang grew up in Taiwan and now resides in Naperville, Illinois. He received both his DVM degree and master’s degree from National Taiwan University in 1993. Dr. Chang practiced for seven years in Taiwan before moving to the US in 2001. 

After receiving his training at Purdue University, Dr. Chang went on to work at Banfield, Lincolnway Animal Hospital, and Animal Welfare League. During his time working in these places, he gained a great amount of experience in surgery, internal medicine, and dermatology. Aside from his skills in the clinical aspects of veterinary work, Dr. Chang develops strong, personal relationships with his clients, both owners and their companions, with ease. 

Apart from his love of animals, Dr. Chang enjoys watching movies and television, playing basketball and badminton, traveling, and spending quality time with his family, his two lovable cats (Sam and Eva), and his adorable chinchilla (Totoro).
